Blenheim Palace is a country house in Oxfordshire, England. The Grade 1 listed building is the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough and is the only non-royal, non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace. The world-class visitor attraction hosts a variety of cultural and sporting events, a wedding and banqueting venue, a unique filming location and is a producer of natural mineral water.

As one of the UK’s leading fire suppression companies, IPH Mist Suppression were delighted, to retrofit the iCO Products® water mist system at the renowned world heritage site.

Project

IPH Mist Suppression were tasked with designing, installing and maintaining a high pressure water mist system to protect one of the living quarters in the Blenheim Palace grounds. In the event of a fire, only the water mist nozzles nearest the blaze will activate to disperse a fine water mist, rapidly extinguishing the fire without causing excess water damage to the property or its valuable contents, including a number of historical artefacts.

IPH Mist Suppression completed the installation within XXX days with minimum disruption to the business. The system is checked and maintained every year as part of an annual service.
