The iCO® Flow Controller must be designed and installed by an industry approved fire suppression company.

The iCO® Flow Controller minimises the risk of excess water damage resulting from leaks or faults within fire sprinkler system components.
Fire sprinkler systems are essential for protecting life and property. However, leaks or unintended discharges can result in significant water damage if not properly controlled. With potential flow rates of up to 240 litres per minute, even a minor fault can quickly escalate, causing substantial damage.
The iCO® Flow Controller is designed to mitigate this risk, providing controlled protection for homes and residential properties. Suitable for both retrofit and new installations, it helps reduce the impact of leaks or system faults, offering greater control, resilience and peace of mind.

The iCO® Flow Controller actively manages water flow within fire sprinkler systems, preventing unnecessary water discharge while maintaining full fire protection capability.

Engineered with a double-knock system, the iCO® Flow Controller differentiates between genuine fire conditions and system faults to ensure appropriate system response.

By preventing uncontrolled leaks and discharges of water, the iCO® Flow Controller helps safeguard buildings and contents from avoidable water damage.
The iCO® Flow Controller has a monitored valve input, selectable run time and battery back up in case of a power cut.
Under normal conditions the sprinkler system will operate as normal. The sprinkler pipe work is full of water with all valves open.
In the event of a fire the smoke from the fire will trigger the fire detection system and the heat from the fire will operate the sprinkler. The sprinkler system will operate as normal with all valves open.
In the event of power, battery or smoke detection failure the valve will failsafe open. Ensuring the property and its contents are protected from potential fire.
In the event of a leak or accidental damage the water will run for 5 seconds. If the smoke detection does not operate, the actuated ball valve will close to stop the water running. If the smoke detection then operates due to a real fire, the ball valve will reopen to allow water to run through the system and control the fire.
After a system operation the actuated ball valve will close to stop the flow of water. If an unlimited run time is selected, the valves will remain open and the system will continue to run indefinitely until manually stopped.

High-Pressure Water Mist
Engineered for rapid fire suppression, iCO® high-pressure water mist uses ultra-fine droplets to cool flames, displace oxygen and reduce smoke spread.

Low-Pressure Water Mist
Engineered for BS EN 14972-17, iCO® low-pressure water mist activates in a similar way to concealed sprinkler heads, delivering rapid fire suppression.

iCO® Sprinkler Monitoring Panel
Designed to monitor the key components of a fire sprinkler system, supporting the mandatory monitoring requirements defined in BS 9251:2021.
