Nestled in suburbs of Cheshire, this five bedroom family home includes a bar, cinema and golf training facility in the basement of the property.

Due to the open plan living spaces listed above, building control had deemed the property as a high fire risk and specified that a fire sprinkler system must be installed to protect the property from any potential fire damage.

The home owner explored a number of options including traditional fire sprinkler system but was deterred by their aesthetics. They therefore approached The Fire Suppression Company to design a discreet system that would blend with the existing interior.

Project

The Fire Suppression Company were tasked with designing, installing and maintaining a discreet, high pressure water mist system to satisfy building control without affecting the design of the specified rooms.

After a quick consultation and review of the property, the team proposed a water mist system with custom coloured nozzles, in this case RAL 9011 Graphite Matt Black to match the interior of the property.

The fire suppression system is maintained every year by The Fire Suppression Company as part of an annual service and maintenance package. This ensures the system will perform as intended in the event of a fire.
